American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Classes
New Students & Recertifications
Lifeguarding will help you develop skills and experience that will be valued by colleges and future employers. It's a great way to demonstrate what you can offer. Colleges and employers look for applicants who can deal effectively with people, who have a take charge attitude and who are willing to work to develop new skills.
Skills You Will Learn in Each Class Listed Below:

Prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies in the water and on land.

Provide professional-level care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services (EMS) professionals take over.

Lifeguard Training, First Aid, and CPR/AED Certifications (which are Valid for Two (2) Years and are updated through the recertification course)
* *Waterfront Lifeguard Module is available; however, it is not included in the regular curriculum. Those students that require this optional part of the program can click here. Additional costs apply.
