Lifeguard Waterfront Add-On Module
The purpose of the Waterfront Skills module is to teach lifeguards the
skills and knowledge needed to prevent and respond to emergencies
in nonsurf, open-water areas (lakes, ponds, etc) found at public parks,
resorts, summer camps and campgrounds.
Those students that require this optional part of the program can receive
it by attending any one of the Waterfront Add-On Module sessions listed
below.
If you are a new or recertification lifeguard that needs to take the
“Waterfront Add-On Module” for the first time, please sign up for one of
these classes:
Sunday, March 16th; 5:00pm-9:00pm, plus 2 hour ZOOM session prior @ Windsor Athletic Club in West Windsor
Sunday, April 20th; 5:00pm-9:00pm, plus 2 hour ZOOM session prior @ Windsor Athletic Club in West Windsor
Saturday, May 3rd; 5:00pm-9:00pm, plus 2 hour ZOOM session prior @ White Meadow Lake Drum Pool in Rockaway
Friday, May 16th; 5:00pm-9:00pm, plus 2 hour ZOOM session prior @ White Meadow Lake Drum Pool in Rockaway
Wednesday, May 21st; 5:30pm-9:30pm, plus 2 hour ZOOM session prior @ Fish & Game Pool in Chatham
Wednesday, June 11th; 5:00pm-9:00pm, plus 2 hour ZOOM session prior @ Fish & Game Pool in Chatham
Wednesday, July 2nd; 5:00pm-9:00pm, plus 2 hour ZOOM session prior @ Lawrenceville Swim Pool in Lawrenceville
Additional Dates/Times/Location will be added.
The additional cost is $90
For current Waterfront Lifeguards who need this module as part of their recertification, we offer two options:
Option #1: Register for one of the Waterfront Add-On classes listed above.
Option #2: Attend a few hours before or after your existing lifeguard recertification class. This option is available based on location and instructor availability. To inquire about this option, please email us at henry@njlifeguard.com to confirm if it can be arranged for your specific recertification class. This is not offered for every recertification class.
There is an additional $50 fee for this option.
